Right now the headers are HTC coated which has a newer look to them. I may have to add more tubing to the flange area to get them to exit where I want so they would be mis matched colors if that happens. Chrome would be very cool but out of my budget. We have a powder coated donating his talents to will probably get the high temp white treatment when all said and done.

I understand the flat white hi temp for the headers but we did have chrome back then. Your car is definitely a high end build (for the late 50's early 60's) so chrome would not be out of place. Just my thoughts. Love what you are doing with it! Chuck
Y's guys rule! Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.

Super excited to announce MSD Performance as our newest sponsor forThe Canned Monster gasser build. They gave us the whole ignition system, MSD 6AL box, Y-Block Billet distributor, black plug wires and a performance coil. Even threw in a black cap so it looks more period correct. MSD Performance

I was able to get the rear pie crust tires mounted up on our wheels. Its not letting me post pics for some reason. Its been quite for a while but thats about to change very soon. The final engine build will be starting very soon and we will be starting the suspension design and build as well.

I just heard from Towel City Tires and they will be sponsoring us the Pie Crust Cheater Slicks for the Monster. Can't wait to get them in hand and mounted up on our American Rebel Wheels. So happy to have them on board this build.

We just had a front tank donated to the build. Its a vintage piece off an old drag car. We'll have to make a few changes but its darn cool.
