Chuck, indeed we have ice races but on past five to ten years all races here in southern Finland have been cancelled due too thin or at all ice on the lakes. Even the motorcycle races have been cancelled as tractors would have gone through ice when clearing the track. And also the "green" peoples have caused problems and most of the southern lakes are not allowed even for boats with motors and so cars over the ice are also a no no! Soon they propably will cancel all skiing on ice and snow as the ski waxes dirt the earth... But, we still have some nice things going on... LSR racing on ice! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TS3zx8NMlr8http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wHZ0RdYz0g0

Considering your short summer you should get something like that going over there. I'm sure you already have ice races. Just have to get them to straighten the track a bit. Does look like winter fun. Chuck

I guess it turns around lot better than with slicks... Hmmm, maybe we have to try that too. Looks cool... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lJaDC5U45Q

Jim, Be careful, we haven't seen you since the last time you "retired". Are you sure you can add another workload like the last one? I never worked so hard in my life until I retired! But I am catching up on the Honey do's. Chuck

Please Jim, take a lot of pics and do a full coverage to our Ford-Freak Magazine about Y-block Shootout. Are you going to drive with your car this year? You should...

I am retiring on Friday, and will be heading to Columbus with Ted Eaton next Wednesday morning. See if you guys can put a trip together for next year. I'd enjoy seeing whoever would come but especially you and Jyrki!
