Jyrki drove to runner up position at Motopark Spring Nationals yesterday. We lost both turbos after three qualification rounds on saturday and had to take them off and continued. Jyrkis 0.01 reaction time put us to number two position after qualification and then we set our index to 11.99 and that caused focusing problems to our competitors . So, good weekend, but expensive... Pics and vids will come later.

What happened to the turbos that you lost both at the same time? Great job changing back to natural asperation and driving to runner-up.

It seems to be that turbos did not get enough or at all oiling. When we put the engine together, we tested oil feed by cranking the engine with hose end of the turbos in canisters and oil feed was good. But after the failure turbos seem to be dry. Turbos are now sent to service and we sure hope they can fix them. Bearings to both, axle and wheels to right one and possibly axle to the left one. Six weeks to next race and we really want to go faster than 11.95 then... We are thinking about external oil pump to feed the turbos.

11,95 is quite good with 292 cid, ~8.5 cr and small exhaust outlets, I think.

Engine is now back together again and today was the time to do some fine tuning. And we did it for the fun of our neighbours again ! Here is the proof... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8pisGKR6Fc&feature=youtu.be
