@ Birdman55
I happen to be the one that was contacting your dad and your mother when your dad was going through his bout with cancer. I am a preacher and pastor, and had made plans to visit your father on my next trip to NC. All of my relatives live either in Walkertown or Mt Airy... I do visit on occasion. From what I know of your father (his name was Earl, right?), he was a great man, and one to be respected. When you began posting here, you shared the same sentiments with us on this website. Please don't let something like this misunderstanding allow you to blow your top to your father's buddies on this site. If you're my age or younger, you know about all of the other forums and blogs that are out there that contain "user bashing" almost on a daily basis. Frankly, I get tired of that. This is a site where it is RARE to see that happen, if at all. Throwing away the things that connected your father to his life and his memories just ain't good sense, pardon my English. Come on, let's honor your father here.
And no, I have no stake in any of your parts nor am I after making money off of your dad's belongings.

Reminds me of what happened to me about 2 years ago when someone else began posting publicly a little too soon. The internet at times can be a place where the "gentleman's agreement" is forgotten and people post quickly per their emotions. The fella that posted quite a bit about me eventually deleted the thread after I contacted him privately to rectify any situation. Most of us know who you are on this site anyway and further know that your reputation has not been damaged. Maybe Birdman will lend an ear?
