Frank, Back in 57 in the very small town in central Illinois where I spent a lot of Friday and Saturday nights "draggin' main",the only time everyone quieted their pipes and turned the radio way up was when WLS played Rebel Rouser.You could hear the twang in the next county.So,yeah,I know who Duane Eddie is.I think all the local cops and older citizens knew also. Glen,that name on your great looking Falcon sure brings it all back.

I was reading about Duane Eddy on Wikepedia after seeing the reference here. I was/am a huge fan back in the late 50's. His manager/producer, Lee Hazelwood, didn't have an echo chamber so he bought a 2000 gallon water storage tank for Eddy to record in. http://www.duane-eddy.com/

Yep, Brother and I listened to Mr. Eddy while riding in Brother's 54 glass top Merc., Sitting at Pittsburgh International Dragway.. Bridgeville Pa.. Great....Thanks for the flash back...
 Brother and I own/operate 1957 Ford Fairlane 312/4x2 and two 1963 Falcons 302 rollers carburated 600cfm, FE427 sitting in shed..

I've got a set of CD's called instrumentals of the 50's. Don't remember where I got it, but I'm thinkin' one of the TV deals. It's got Rebel rouser, walk, don't run and a bunch more. I use it to improve my humor after long days!
