Welcome back Mike and thanks for the kind words. I think everyone on here should get into racing, it will keep you young. Just look at Chuck, old man but he still gets around pretty good. Although I did have to help Ted with loading his new blower motor into his van. Never knew you could get so much stuff, plus 3 men into a Dodge van. Just kidding Chuck, but I sure hope someone got a picture of that operation.

Just getting back to the site after an extended absence. Was known as Missouri Mike, now Midwest Mike. The reasons are long and boring.
So, I'm catching up on happenings and the last time I was here you were deciding paint and a name. I'm so glad to see the finished product, I have to echo all the compliments you've received would add more. It's cool, fast and inspiring. Makes me
want to get out in the shop and get back to work.
At 5 months younger than you I'm not so sure that makes me a "young guy" but I like the thought. Let's hope God forgives you if He considers it a lie, and forgives me for loving it.
Rebel Rouser, Duane Eddy.....know them well. Pulled out the old Have "TWANGY" Guitar Will Travel album. Yes, I've got his original first album with the tune that launched his career Moovin' 'n Groovin' and subsequent hits Ramrod and Cannon Ball. And to answer an earlier post, his sax player was Steve Douglas.
Be healthy, be safe, be fast!

I think that's a great plan Glen, I'm with you safety first always. Really liked your car, looks great, it's fast and sounds incredible.

Picked up a new one at NAPA yesterday, so everything is good to go again. The old one was most likely the original 1963 Merc part and I should have known better than use it. After the two races in Oct, I think I will replace it with a steel u joint just to be on the safe side.

I though that I heard something weird going on with that old transporter when you pulled out of the pits Sat evening. Glad you got everything fixed and made it home safe and sound.

Glad you're being watched over Glen and kept safe. Just got home myself, felt like I've been double clutched??? Lost my clutch at the drag strip in my Tbird then on my way home to Asheville NC the clutch in my Truck car hauler gave up and the hub spin out of the clutch disk 30 miles south of Ashland Ky. OUCH!!!!!!!! Labor day week end. Wrecker hauled me in to Edsel's auto repair in Louisa, Ky. Ordered new clutch kit, would be in Tuesday. No choice two hotel nights $$. Fix clutch, wrecker bill $$ And nothing else hurt so worked out good and got home safe and glad everyone else did, all in all still a great week end, got to see ole yblock buddies and meet new ones, gets no better than that.

Glenn, That's not funny. Could have been very serious. Glad it happened in the pits.
