Yes Ted, I'm a little surprised too that it worked. I had a severe problem with my old computer and I bought a new one with Windows Vista in it. And it uses a IE as a browser. The old one was using Mozilla as a browser with XP. So, I quess that when I changed my old computer to Mozilla, the links stopped working and now with the new computer and IE they work again.

Ok, I spent some time with the old one and got it running too... but as I now have lots of more space in this new one i'll stick with it. But, I have to say that I hate Vista after XP w00t. Am I getting old or what.... Wink

And yes, that was a teaser of a full 2 hour version of the Finnish Ford Nationals DVD, witch will be available and ready some where during this month.

Sorry Ted, I just couldn't resist.... Enjoy anyhow BigGrin

Seppo.  Not sure what there is to be sorry about as the link worked without any editing on my end.  I thought at first it was going to be a link of the engine on the dyno but see where it’s some good video of the car and others being raced, abused, and displayed.  Thanks for sharing.

Ok! I just started to write an article about turbocharging the Y for the YBM! How badly do you want to see it on that magazine? And how badly do you want to see some dyno results about our engines power figures? HP estimate is absolutely mystery to me but I'm kinda willing to see it myself too. Ok, it takes about 500 euros to get those results and it may also blow up before seeing any good numbers, but...BigGrin

So far I haven't found any decent chassis to put it, so maybe it will end up to the dyno shop w00t. Just to get some data for the YBM.

Remember... fear is inside in our head, why let it loose and to stop our craziness BigGrin.

I would like to see a dyno sheet. But don't blow it up. Put it in a car afterwards. Or put it on a chassis dyno.

FED dragster, altered chassis, some decent two door sedan ('54-'61) Ford, Mercury or Edsel is in consider, if we just can find one and if we have money to buy one. All help is welcome Smile

Or should we just collect our moneys and put it to dyno and see how and in what rpm / hp level it breaks? Just to see some real hp numbers. Would be interesting too w00t....

My vote is to definitely put it in a car.  Would hate to see this trashed or worn out on a dyno without everyone have the experience of a wild and wicked ride.

Apache. Times and weight doesn't tell us anything, even if would have scaled the Hollow Machine. Poor starts due 2.75 open rearend and slipping second gear destroyes all calculations. 60 feets were all in 2.5 to 2.9 seconds and when the second gear should have gone in, it didn't and all we could do was trying to make it go in by lifting the pedal and then again press it down again. Angry. It weights about 700 -800 kilos and it has more than 180 stock horsepowers.

Well, now we have a wide band O2 sensor and a JAW controller to help the Megasquirt to uderstand that signal from the wide band sensor. That helps the tuning of the whole system, but i'll be next summer untill we fire it again. In what chassis, how many turbos onboard and with what transmission and rearend is still unknown. We will have a long and dark winter to figure all that out...Wink. Hollow Machine chassis is unsafe at speeds over 130 km/h w00t.

I've been told by my friend Don who's been building engines for years that the stock 5.0's start splitting blocks at about 450hp. He says it's not if but when. I know there are several Y-s running at at least that power level that hold together just fine. Stock for stock, I think you will mess up the 5.0 before you mess up the Y.
