i used the freeze plug then trimmed off the drain tube and put the road draft tube back on  looks stock

I did the same but I cut a Piece of Tin to cover the Opening held in place by the mounting Bolts for the Road Draft. I didn't find the Frost Plug very tight. Could fall inside Oil Pan as the Block heats up.

"It just happens to come with Bolts. I will be Painting Engine so it doesn't matter to Me if I use them or not."

Sir, that comment was not directed at you personally. Sorry if I upset you.

Not a Problem. I am thinking about your Suggestion to keep the Draft Tube for Appearance only. I have 2 so I can sacrifice One. Thanks

That's right OldcarMark. I wanted to mention that and you beat me to it. It's just easier to use a block off plate. I've also heard there's a block off plate used on a VW flat 4 that also works.

"Comes with Gasket and 2 Chrome Bolts"

Gotta have that BLING ...

Just a thought to whomever may come across this thread in the future, the road draft assy can be be made inoperative by placing a steel shim gasket behind it and along with a well hidden PCV Sytem, can be made to look bone stock.

It just happens to come with Bolts. I will be Painting Engine so it doesn't matter to Me if I use them or not. If you want to use the Draft Tube inoperative You have to cut off the Drain Back Tube before U can block it.

You can always reuse your old allen head bolts. I didn't get a gasket with mine. Amazingly I was still able to reuse my original gasket from the draft tube.

Yes. 1 3/4" C to C Bolt Holes. Comes with Gasket and 2 Chrome Bolts. Don't know if Bolts are correct yet.

Does the fuel pump block off plate have the same bolt spacing as the draft tube?
