Been there done that. As a matter of fact I have small bag of assorted rubber grommets. Anybody have a a clue as to where I put them?

Sometimes I find them later and say to myself "ok that's where they are" . Then when need them again I can't remember where I saw them last.

I have been doing my car longer than I can remember and have parts spread all over the place.
I seem to spend half my time looking for something and then when I find it, it is generally in the first place I looked, though I didn't see it the first time round. Then once I find it I get distracted, put it down and then forget where I put it. Drives me crazy!
The cycle continues.

BOH I just went through my cache of used plug wires and found 4 Yellow Accel High Temp Super Stock Radio Suppression 8mm plug wires. If any or all of these would work for you you are welcome to them. I wiped them down and they don't look to bad. I can stick them in the mail.

Oops I almost forgot. 3 are 30" in length and one is 33". the 33 incher and one of the 30 inchers have a slightly angled boot. The other two are straight.

Trust me those gremlins are very common.. Far more as you get older!

This means my future is hopeless. If I loose something, it is gone. Not even buying a replacement will coax it out of it's hiding place.
