http://bambuser.com/v/2809263?more-user-filters-device=phone 5:01 Its hard to find the right run, cause video is over 9 hour long and there something wrong about normal video to me, so here is the mobile phone version. 10.050/129 and 60ft time was 1.37 This the only run on today, cause earlier rain and on first eliminator round, one Mazda hitted wall hard, just before Jykä. That was end of the day. Tomorrow is weather is going bad, but if is not...first round is solo and target is 9.xx. Edited: http://www.foreca.com/Finland/Alastaro/details/20120708 Doh

On Sunday Jyrkis first elimination run http://bambuser.com/v/2811847#t=400s starting about 6:40 . And second and last elimination run http://bambuser.com/v/2811984#t=7200s starting about 2:00:00 . Links looks working on windows explorer just to the right moment but not on firefox every time. And some problems with firefox also to select wanted times, can only look from start with those long recordings.

What a weekend! Almost satisfied, but little disappointed as again something is wrong with the engine after last run. But it lasted nine runs well and that last one not so perfectly. 10.050 is ok as Jyrki's 0.02 reaction which gave us ninth place at the qualification. But, honestly, we wanted to go to nines and 9.99 would have pleased us this time . And it still goes straight as a bullet. Here is couple of pics again... Let them burn! Me at the background capturing a video about burn outs. Jyrki at the pit area with Tero and Tero's wife and kids.

Seppo You guys should not be to disapointed, you have gone from a street rod to race car in a short period of time. One rule always applies, when you go faster the week parts will show up. I am sure you will get there. The car looks right at home in super pro.

Thanks , Gary, Tim and all else too. Reason of our bad performance at last run is solved. #5 intake push rod was out of place due loose adjusting nut and we actually run that 11.8 sec run with only seven cylinders . Also, some of the new push rods are split again from the rocker arm ball end. Now we just have to find a new and proper set as Ted has told. Two weeks to go for the next race and that will be 1/8 mile airfield track. So, there we can only improve our 60 ft times if the traction is good. Good practice, though... .

Seppo, looks like you're getting really close to your target! Regarding the pushrods: I don't know what your combo is exactly but there is a compatibility problem with aftermarket adjusting screws and factory or stock replacement pushrods. Although the Ford adjusters appear to have a 3/8" ball on the end it is really slightly undersize, about .365". Most of the aftermarket rockers will have a true 3/8" diameter ball but the cup end of the the replacement rockers is likely to Ford specs meaning the ball won't hit at the very bottom of the cup, but can ride around the sides of the cup. This will cause the cups to break or gall if the oil is wiped off by the interference. Don't know if this helps. Good luck next time out. 9.XX!
