Hi guys i just thought i'd share this with you all, i'm putting together a Yblock for my 32

running twin 4's and a normal valley cover wont fit so i made this one out of S/S it's fixed to the block by M5 set screws around the perimeter, cheers oggie

It looks like you're using a pair of mismatched heads. It's not a big deal, but you'll have to pull the threaded plug from the front of the head on the left in the picture, and you'll have to plug the rear hole on that same head.

Your right charlie they are both left hand but both ecg-d, i had to replace one, i've got all the stuff to rebuild them from john but i would love a set of his Alu heads.

Oggie, Nothing new here. Where did you get those valve covers with the Ford Oval on them? Something a little different than what we see here.

Dennis they are THOMAS covers with the name milled out and badges pinned in, a common practice here in the old days, Eddie Thomas was a drag racer, machine shop/ parts manufacturer and all round good egg hes well into his 80's and still has input in to the company. He made 3x2 intakes as well, our friend Maurice (good captain) used to work for him, cheers oggie
