Nice work on the valley cover. It should keep it sealed. I have one of Mummert's covers and have thought of adding some fasteners to it for the same reason. Here is a photo from today of my 312 in progress.

Oggie, Are you asking about the Ford FE series (352, 390, etc.) starter I'm using with the Flat-o http://flat-o.com/carproducts/yblock.htmadapter for my C-4 or the mini-starter http://www.autoelec.com/ that I suggested to you to help for clearance for your steering box?

I don't believe the FE starter will bolt up to your bell housing? I think I remember you are using a 4 speed?

As for remembering, That's "Old Timers Disease"

Good hearing from you,

Oggie, here's one... http://www.autoelec.com/html/y_block_ford_gear_reduction_st.html. Looks like it may be rotated to help with clearance. Anybody else have this starter.

Don't know what shipping would be to Australia, tho.w00t

I'm assuming by Genuine Bell Housing your are referring to a Stock Ford Bell Housing.

I don't have one yet but ordered one for my Tbird a few minutes ago. I have similar starters on both my FE powered rides and they are great. They are "clockable" so you can rotate the mounting to allow for 8 different positions. The sound of the starter is much different, not like the older Ford unit but more like a the new Ford or Mopar. I asked about shipping to Australia and he said it is about 50 bucks. Says he has shipped to New Zealand and Australia frequently.

I have one and it is great. It's worked flawlessly for probably 6 years now, maybe more. It's worth the price.
