Can or should you make some sort of fairing for the shocks and axle?

I've often wondered about a V shaped fairing on the axle instead of the lightening holes. Anything to change a surface from flat to tapered would seem to help. Also anybody ever done any work with covers on the inside of the wheels? Thats another area to disturb the air flow. Moon discs on the outside are nearly standard but why not on the inside? Could be as simple as an aluminum disc attached to the spindles or axle flange. Just dreaming out loud. Chuck

Y's guys rule!
Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.
