1st year of racing at Bonneville 2011 ran 175.539 (fastest run) Sent the engine back to Ted. 2nd year 2012 ran 183.572. Sent the engine back to Ted. 3rd year 2013 188.562. Engine is on it's way. Boy, I cant wait for next year. We run from west to east. 15 mph partial headwind didn't help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, got back home on the 18th.
Monday the 19th the work began. Tear down & clean up,of 2 race cars,& 2 trucks with trailers.
Ted has already posted, but my top speed was 188.563.
We really wanted to get in the 190's,but will have to wait for next year.
All in all I am real happy with the way the car handled at that speed, and like everyone we are looking for more.
So with that said the engine will be on its way to Texas for a tune up.
Good luck for those of you going to Columbus,I would like to get there one of these days,(just to watch).

Gary, I'm close, but no promises. I just like going to Bonneville to see all the hard work and ingenuity by others like Keith, it is such an inspiration.

landspeedy (7/10/2013) Thanks Tim.
Time is running short, but we will make it.I know it all too well. Haven't got my new engine together yet, let alone in the truck. We'll make it though.

That paint looks "slick". Car should be real slippery this time. Looks really good. Chuck
