It's a long time ago but when I converted my first convertable, about 1960, I bought a pedal setup from a local guy. I'm sure he said it came out of a 54. Fit perfectly! So if my memory's anywhere near correct (this time?) the parts interchange. Chuck in NH
Y's guys rule! Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.

John I cant get any response out of Pete so i guess that he has already found what he needs elsewhere.I checked The parts numbers on the 55 56 parts and some have B4 (54) numbers so it looks like 54 55 56 are the same on these stick shift parts Carl

Pete: I checked my stuff to make sure everything is there. It isn't. I have two clutch pedals and arms(??), a brake pedal, the clutch linkage except for the spring from the throwout arm to the frame, and the bracket that bolts to the engine and supports the inner end of the equalizer. I do have the heavy under dash spring and the adjusting J bolt, and the torsion spring that returns the brake pedal to the top. The '55 stuff Carl has will also fit, and again, I won't horn in on Carl's deal, he was here first. I seem to remember something being different between the stick and auto brake pedals, beside the wider pedal pad. Something about the pedal pivots.

Pete: I did not know that Carl was trying to deal with you, I will back off until you and Carl work things out. I believe the '55-'56 equalizer from the frame to the engine is shaped differently to clear the left exhaust pipe on dual exhaust cars. '54s didn't have factory duals.
