Charlie and I will be headed for Bonneville in a few weeks to try and regain the E/PP record for the "Y" We have a few little adjustments to make before then and hope to get more HP and speed out of them. I talked to Ted the other day about carburation and he is going to lend us a Race Demon 650 to try out, Thanks Ted. Also I bought a header kit with 1 3/4" primaries since Jerry C. has been giving Charlie a hard time about his Sandersons and Ted seems to agree that the 1 1/2" primaries may be to restrictive. I will be freshening up the heads too with a little porting to the exhaust to make use of the new headers.

Tim, is that the Hedman kit from Summit? It looks just like the tubes in my kit.

I don't want the market, I'll post all the pix of making them so you can do your own. They take a lot of work, six hours yesterday and only one side is "almost" finished. (got too hot out in the shop, 102*) I hope they do the trick.

Dang tim I feel really bad now.. I was at a swap meet a couple of weeks ago and walked right by a set of collectors that would've slipped right on there.. They were originaly for a set of SBC fenderwells but were the same diameter and arrangement as those..

Headers are now done, just need to clean and add a little High-temp paint to try and keep the salt off. Ted, I got the carb on Tues. Thank You! I also dit a little clean up and freshen up on the heads, all this should come together on Sat out at the Burns Estate. Everything looks good so far.

Tim, that kit from Jegs looks just like the kit I got from Summit and it's quite a bit cheaper, should have shopped around. Where did you get your flanges from, by the way good looking truck headers!
