We here fill up all our thousand lakes . And usually it takes a whole winter to get that much snow here, but this year there is more snow than last four years counted together. And more is coming. But, we never get 80 centimeters in one day as you are used to .

When I saw this pic of Tim I couldn't resist doing something to it. What's it going to be, tuned exhaust? or Zoomies I hope! Whatever it is I know It's going to sound better than one can write out! And knowing what Tim usually does, I'm sure we WILL all get to hear it.

A little more work done yesterday. Cut out the puny king-pin bosses on the Mark Williams front axle and replaced them with the much stouter ones that came with the spindles. (pictured) Also made the stearing box support cross bar and front axle mount. Things are coming along. Actually got the idea for this type of axle mount from pix of an old Tommy Ivo car. Engine work today. or should I say engine fun today, no work on Sunday.

On Sunday I got a chance to do a little engine building, beautiful day out here by the way , Put together a shortblock and the bolted the heads on. All clearances were check, deck height is 0, piston to valve clearance is OK! thanks again to Ted for the head gaskets.

Hollow Head (3/2/2010)
Long ARPs for main girdle? Maybe someday, for now they are just long because I use FE studs and cut them down.
