This distributor ran for about 2500 miles, then the truck was parked over the winter. Had problems with backfiring when I got it back out, and thought (wrongly) that it was the distributor. Needed one that worked immediately, so I was forced to purchase another one. Sent the original back to MSD, which charged me to replace the cap and rotor... and told me it was fine.
