Glen Henderson (7/31/2010) Thanks for the offer Bill and Charlie, but still to much other stuff to do. I have to build a transmission, rear end, buy axles, slicks, and a driveshaft. Ted offered to loan me the engine that the Church Bros have been using in their T Bird. I'll just keep plugging away and maybe it will be ready next spring so I can run it at the local tracks some before hauling it to Columbus.Get it all dialed in for next year (2011) that's when I plan to haul Elwood out there, we'll get together then.

Looking forward to it Tim, by the way it would be so cool if all three of the diggers could make it the same year.

OK, I promised a bit of an update a few weeks ago. I pulled the old girl out into the sunlight for the first time today for a bath.

I decided to go ahead and add the picture before I get timed out. I have spent the last month building the fiberglass hood and if you notice just in front of the rear slicks, I had to open up the wheel wells a bit to clear the 30 X 9 slicks. Still need to touch up the paint. Ted has been given the go ahead on the engine, it should be ready by early spring. I am working on the C4 trans now, and plan on pulling the rearend next week to complete it. I have decided to add a back brace to the housing and have a new Moser full spool to replace the 28 spline mini in it now,(thanks Santa). I plan on ordering a set of Moser axles next week. I'll hopefully be able to give more details on the engine in the next few weeks.

Glenn, Wow, you have really come along with that great looking Falcon. I like the hood very much. I bet it is as functional as it is nostalgic. Those hoods always screamed FORD.
