I posted the pic's first because I was afraid I would get timed out. A few points about the Flat o matic adapter, the flex plate needs to be balanced, Ted checked mine and it was out of balance. The kit comes with some stud adapters that are used with a stock dia converter, but since I am running a 10" 3500 stall, I had to come up with a way to adapt it. Thus the alum spacers that sandwich the converter to the flexplate. If anyone is ever in a simular situation, let me know. I had to pay for a cad program to cut the plates on a waterjet, but the shop that I used has them on file now so the next batch should be cheaper. The trans is a combination of TCI and BME hard parts. The valve body is a full manual rev pattern with transbrake. It should get the Falcon off the line pretty well.

Glen. Looking good. I see you changed the color on the valve covers. Glad you decided to go Red with the block as it does stand out in the engine bay.

Just an old 1961 292 truck motor or that's what the local scrub boys will know!

Nice work Glen. You won't be able to pull the wool over their eyes for very long.

Oh, please don't let them think it's a scrub transplanted in the truck with Ford valve covers! They think only chebbies have the distributor on the back and siameased exhaust ports.

Getting close to lighting the fuse. Waiting on driveshaft and trying to make the shifter work, think i'm going to have to order a shorter cable.
