aussiebill (4/7/2009) Hi dave, fellow yblocker!, as Jerry C allways says" spread the faith". I know its a long haul but are you going to the Hot Rod Nationals at Goulburn in NSW? this easter weekend? Might see you there. Regards Aussie bill.Bill ,unfortunately I wont be at Goulburn - other commitments. My brother will be there with his trade stand ( Lilow Autotech). There's no trouble "spreading the faith" in Victoria, there's plenty of Y-Blocks coming out of the woodwork. I'm actually now rebuilding a spare 272 that I had hiding under the bench and recently picked up another 272 for a mate who plans to put it in a '32 roadster. By the way was it you who recently picked up some Offy dress up gear from down near Melbourne? Good luck to you if it was , my mate was trying to locate those bits and buy them back.

Welcome to the site "Yblock32"! Just a word of advice though, take everything Lon says with a grain of salt, he tends to give all the "fine, respectable Aussies" on this sight a bad rep!!! Well I guess all families have a "black sheep"!!!! LOL
I love the smell of burning rubber in the morning!

Will post somes pics as soon as I can.[/quote] Sorry they are not in order , but here's a few build shots. These shots only represent probably the last 12 months of the build . I'm ashamed to say that the car actually took 12 years ( but stuff happens )
