Charlie, The number on the pump is C1AE6604A. The number in my book is C1AE6600A. I'll have to take the cover off the pump and do a visual unless someone knows the part number for the gerotor. I looked in my books and I cant find a number. Will keep you advised .

Its has some weight but looks like aluminum. May have some iron gears inside. My guess would be iron.

If it's iron, it's the one I want.  Got a magnet?

Doesn't really matter if it works.

A flat steel cover on the oil pump will make it a gerotor (gerorotor) style while a thicker cast iron cover with a couple of knobs or protrusions on it will be the spur gear style of pump.  Gerotor pump housings are aluminum when supplied by Ford but were in cast iron when made by the aftermarket companies so the housing material will not be definitive in identifying which style pump is being dealt with.
