No, they won't bolt into anything else.  Bolt pattern is different, many have a fixed yoke on the back which requires a slip joint in the driveline.  The OD parts are interchangeable throughout the BW line.  I once got a pawl that was NLA available from Ford, the local AM dealer had it in stock.  'Course the AM dealers are gone now.

EJ:

Forgot to mention in previous post, Studebaker probably sold more Warner overdrives than anyone else.

John, is the bolt pattern the same as a Ford?

I just bought a t-85? from a guy that said it was removed from a studebaker truck.I thought I might be able to use it on my y-block.

Earlier tonight I was doing a search on the trans and saw a thread where a guy was looking for solenoid.

One of the replies said,The seal usually leaks and you can take the solenoid off ,clean it out with brake and clean ,and replace the oring,it will usually work.

I have not tried it,but it might be worth a shot. And Merry Christmas to everyone.
