The rod that goes from the accelerator pedal to the linkage inside the engine compartment is always bending and does not push straight. I know there is a rubber grommet to keep it centered. In order to get the grommet in the hole I had to slice it. Is there a method to stabalize this rod. Now, I have to chase it around with the pedal/ Thanks.
