I'm in the process of installing a PCV system on my 272. Does anyone know of a vendor that has a block off plate for the road draft tube?

They were stock on Thunderbirds. Check with Thunderbird parts suppliers/restorers like Prestige in SoCal.. I found a new one on e-bay last year so I didn’t need to make one. Easier to make in 1/4” aluminum. Can follow the stock opening or be a rectangle.

I wanted to keep the road draft tube for original look when i put on a pvc so just removed the tube and took a piece of shim stock and put it under the gasket,no leaks and looks original Carl

Use your old gasket as a template and make one out of 3/16 aluminum or steel

Ted, just checked on the Mac's web site and they are currently out of stock. Would a fuel pump block off plate work?

I think some VW fuel pump block off is supposed to work.

Oh, I'm sure that part is not unique to Mac's so you can probably find it at any vintage Ford parts place.
