Hi Mr y block don, Im doing a body off on a 54 mercury monterrey 2 dr ht. I need to get the front crossmember from this place in okla. How did you weld yours in? Mig, Tig, Buzz box? How did you remove it? Did you cut off the angled front frame horn? Thanks a lot.54 Merc Mike

Wondering if you drilled holes in the lower corner of the cross member? The new repo's have a drain hole Ford forgot to put them in. Gerry

Im jealous! Our sunliner was REALY bad when I got it. It was a long project for us, but my now wife and I did a body off... it was a LOT of fun, and it was a great project! Yours will be sweet when done. Good luck, and keep the pics coming!

These things are like "The Cat eating the grinding stone" you just have too hang in. Takes a lot of time and money, but in the end it is worth it. Good luck with your project.
