Does anyone know if there is a distributor cap that fits the stock y-block distributor with male/HEI connectors that accept 8-9mm snap style spark plug wires?
Any info appreciated.

Standard Ignition AL-482 with slight modification. Make a notch to clear the vacuum advance at the base. Keep it tight or the cap will move around. This is for the International Harvester V8 distributor.

Not all y-blocks use the same distributor cap. For instance, the 55 Tbird cap is smaller than the 57 Tbird cap; they are not interchangeable.

How about the rotor - use the one that goes with the cap or a regular Ford 57 rotor?
