Anyone have any experience with a Mallory 2538701, dual point, centrifugal advance distributor on a stock, Fordomatic 292 or 312 Y-block? Good? Bad?

Not on a Y and don't know if the same model, but I had a similar dizzy on a 53 merc flathead and it ran great. It was the newer style, not the one with a two piece cap.
