Have 15 good ones and 1 1.43 replacement. Am currently rebuilding my shafts Fo my 471 blower motor. Thanks for the help. MIKE

The person that sent you that rocker that ended up being missing due to a torn package gave to me the remainder of his oem stash of Y parts.  There are still some random NOS 1.54:1 ‘A2’ rockers remaining but none of them have the adjusters or lock nuts in them.  If you still need one less the adjuster and nut, let me know and I’ll get it into the mail for you.  I will need your mailing information again and you can send that to my email address.  That can be found at   www.eatonbalancing.com  .

HOOSIER HURRICANE Posted-

I picked a random A-2 rocker arm out of my stash.  The OAL length is 2.950" and a 15/64" drill bit is a tight fit between the rocker body and the ball on the adjuster screw.

I checked a B-2 rocker, again a random pick from my pile.  The OAL is 2.960, and the same 15/64 drill fit.

... hmmph ...

Now it is becoming confusing ...

THANX for your time and trouble ... Wink

Kultulz, I checked a B-2 rocker, again a random pick from my pile.  The OAL is 2.960, and the same 15/64 drill fit.  They had no screws, I put self locking screws in them to check the drill bit clearance.  Mike, did you find an A-2 rocker to complete your set?

Looks like they can be spotted by the difference in the length of the pushrod oiling hole material.

The saga continues: you know those old guys you used to know? The ones that always had great stuff stashed that they never remember? As I was measuring and trying to figure out the rocker arm question didn't I find a sealed ziplock bag with 16 ECG 6465 B2 NOS. The adjuster side won't pass a 1/ 4 inch drill but the overall length I just under 3.00". The aftermarket are between 3.20 or so. I am progressively more confused but wonder how anyone really knows what ratio they have given the overall variations I see in the 84 different ones I'm looking at especially the old ones and the aftermarket ones that are out there. Is anyone trying to measure the actual effective ration an if so how are they doing it? MIKE

My quick and dirty for identifying the 1.54:1 rocker arms is just look for the ‘ECG’ on the rocker.  The overall measurement of the rocker also works as 3” or less is 1.54 and over 3” is 1.43:1.  The drill bit test where you measure the distance between the rocker body and the adjuster also works.  Beyond all that, I have a home made checker with a pair of dial indicators that I use to accurately measure the actual rocker ratio.  The ratio does vary depending upon where the adjuster screw is located within the threads.

Does everyone remember the old guy that always had cool stuff stashed he would suddenly "find"? While I have been measuring and getting progressively confused by the variations I find didn't I find a ziplock bar of 16 NOS ECG 6465 B2 rockers?. Their overall length is about 2.90 as opposed to some of the aftermarket ones that average around 3.20. Is anyone measuring the effective ratio of their rockers and how? This has gotten more and more confusing to me with the variations of demensions even within sets that are clearly from the same batches by number and wear. The NOS B2s seem to be all demensionally the same
