thanks. got a bracket on order. The fuel lines don't bend. Made that mistake. They just snap. So much for a quick and easy carb swap.

I thought all coils were oil filled although different coils may use different kinds of oil. The rule of thumb is for oil filled coils to be mounted in an upright position while epoxy filled coils can be mounted in any position.

62galxe (8/2/2019) Just put a dual feed summit 600 cfm carb on my 292 and the fuel line hits the coil. looking for solutions. My coil mounts sideways. ThanksPositioning the coil in an upright position is an option.

Is it better to mount the coil in a vertical position if possible?

45* fuel fittings are also made: Might "clear" the coil as-is.

Use a bracket like this and mount it parallel to the valve cover. https://www.summitracing.com/oh/parts/fms-m-12044-a2/overview/
