Andy.  There's an excellent How-To write-up with pictures for installing posts in un-posted G heads buried in the Forum Archive.  IF someone doesn't identify a link for this, I should have some time on Sunday to locate it for you.

Does anyone have the tech info about installing posts in early G heads? I’ve got a set that I’m getting ready to put on 292 build I’m preparing a 56 Fairlane to use on power tour. Thanks
