Hollow Head (6/12/2014)
Ted (6/12/2014)
My roadster has run a best of 8.845 in the quarter. Backing this up at different tracks are 8.850, 8.857, and 8.858 times. The best eighth mile time I find is a 5.580. Ted, your times are amazing! So equal from track to track and fast without cheating with boost! I don’t consider boost to be cheating, just a different level of performance. The physics are actually much simpler when boosting is applied.

Ted / Billy, redlights come when you're in the limit and times with EcoBoost are not valid in this list . Jyrki has -0.007 and -0.003 redlights also and I wonder why he had to leave so early... Time margins are so small in this sport... Also, like last year when Jyrki drove 8.885 he said it was s...it run, thus it was only 0.162 sec slower than our best!

Seppo:
I'm not sure if reaction times should be considered for your list, because most very low reactions are flukes, not typical times. In my case, my best reaction at Columbus was .001, but I have had two .000 green lights in recent years. I assure you, all 3 are flukes. At one meet at Bunker Hill Dragstrip in Indiana, after a round win a friend came running up the staging lanes shouting, you had a .500 light (different timers, .500 is perfect). I replied, that's just an average light for me. He asked, how so? I said half of them are .600 and half are .400.
