55blacktie (8/27/2022) Isn't the parachute overkill?For my car, the parachute is not required unless exceeding 150 mph. On very rare occasions I do slip up and hit that number. By design, I try to keep the car in the 146-148 mph range. Here’s an ET slip from the June Y-Block Shootout at Dragway 42 where in the heat of the battle, I did break that 150 mph number with the Y. Daniel had such a lead on me out of the gate that I ended up having to push it to catch him at the finish line. Daniel still took the stripe but I did take the win by lieu of the red light by Daniel.
