A bit of a hack, but I think it would help everyone including myself. If the site admins were go to the file skins/classic/styles/theme.css on the web server, and change 888888 to 000000 it would be awesome. In particular, these lines:
.TableCell_Light {color:#000000;background-color:#FFFFFF;opacity:1;font-family:Arial;font-size:12pt;}
.TableCell_Dark {color:#000000;background-color:#EEEEEE;opacity:1;font-family:Arial;font-size:12pt;}
.TableCell_Medium {color:#000000;background-color:#EDF7FF;opacity:1;font-family:Arial;font-size:12pt;}
.TableCell_Highlight {color:#000000;background-color:#FDFFDB;opacity:1;font-family:Arial;font-size:12pt;}
Where I've already done the substitution. That just puts in black text in what appears to be the correct places. Enough already with "graphics designers" who forget that people are supposed to read this, instead of looking pretty from across the room
(Referring to the forum vendor, not to our beloved YBF admins.) Hope this helps. It worked for me in a live-edit on my browser. No guarantees, and always be sure to back up first.
