The black print is not really black, more of a gray and it's hard for these old eyes. I have noticed this on other sites, so it may not be a site problem.
Does anyone know if there is a way to make the colors and black stand out more?

Just a bit of help.
If you hold down the Ctrl key and rotate your mouse wheel - if your mouse has one - it will increase and decrease the size of the display. The print does get larger and is a bit easier to read.
If you don't have a mouse wheel then hold down the Ctrl key and tap the + or - key. That should also do the same thing. Several sites have wide borders and small/light print in the middle. I use this all the time to blow up the size of the print.

Thanks, but that doesn't really help much. I sure wish there was something that can be done. I often get headaches trying to read the faded print with these old eyes. A couple of guys who post here have nice dark print and it is a joy to read their posts. This is the worst site I visit in this regard. I just noticed as I type this, the print is somewhat darker, but when I post, it gets very dim again.

If you use the font dropdown and pick impact it makes it darker while I type this/ lets see if it works.

I've been darkening my print manually so it is easier to see. Doesn't help me to see yours any better tho.

I just had my grand daughter change my computer and now the screen is black with white text, much easier to read. Don't ask me what she did, I have no idea.
