Does anyone have experience putting a y block in a 36 Ford? I will be running a stock front end with a 4 inch drop axle and a reverse eye spring.I hope to use the stock steering column and box etc.
I have not purchased an engine yet. I have received what I consider to be good advise about using a rear sump engine out of an early
truck. I intend to put a t5 tranny behind what ever I end up with.
Any and all help, suggestions ,pitfalls to avoid, etc would be very much appreciated.I may be interested in a compete running engine
or possibly a good core if available in the central California area.

Thanks.
