Any updates on the "update"

I still have problems with the notification e-mails and posting posts, I get error messages all the time when posting. Seems like the postings works a bit better in google chrome than Explorer.

Thanks for a great site......besides the bugs

I have recently takento typing my post/replies in Open Office and then pasting them to theforum thinking that that would cure the missing letters syndrome. Noletters are missing but spaces are dropped here and there. Wierd.

The only two problems i am having now (that i am aware of) are;

* when saving a topic as a favorite and signing up for email notifications, not getting any emails, and

* when posting to the forum, the preview pane has

This message is directed to those forum members out there that can read the site but get error messages when trying to post to the site. Jim has purchased the new software which hopefully fixes this problem and others that that are being experienced. At this point it’s simply a matter of waiting on the programmer to get the forum upgrades installed. Once that’s done, it’s hoped that the site is 100% functional once more.

The topics that i have saved as favorites, and are notified by email, have not been coming through also.Hopefully the new software will fix this too.

The new software is purchased and as soon as it is installed, this issue should be resolved.

Stephen will let me know a bit ahead of time as to the switchover to the newer version. He will have to take the forums down for a bit so that nothing gets posted into the old database while the new one is copying. I am very excited about support for iOS and Android devices.

I've had no issues, so could it be a faulty key board?

I thought it was just my keyboard but too many others have the same problem. Typing very very slowly seem to help a little but not totally.

While I’m not experiencing the ‘missing letters syndrome’, I am having difficulty with the spacing between every tenth word or so not being there when doing the cut and paste bit. When typing directly into the provided textbox, it’s not the same set of problems. Because I do use the cut and paste method most of the time, this is simply forcing me to edit each post I do to put the spaces back in. When the site code was messed up during the Nov 15 – Dec 15 time frame, that spacing issue fixed itself but with the site code restored back, the spacing issue for me came back as well. Adding lines between the paragraphs is still cumbersome also as I'll tend to use hard return lines to separate the paragraphs. I’m hoping that the site upgrade that Jim is getting ready to do will fix these problems.

I also get the following error message with each post I do.

I have the same problem on multiple computers and, therefore, keyboards. It is helpful to type in a word processor and then copy and paste. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the preview pane.
