Thanks to all for the encouragement and kind words . This is a very unique endurance race/rally . Im indeed very fortunate to have my hija Lauren's support in and out of the car . We enjoy our humble image in the original class w/ our 4000lbs 1954 Ford Vicky running a Mummert 292 Y block producing a max 225 wrh/250 tq. Much of the satisfaction of finishing this rally is beating 2/3's of our friends in the Historic C group that run 5 lt engines putting out twice the hp and 2/3's the weight ( mustangs + falcons ) much to their amazement . A true testament to the reliability and toughness of the Y block. Stay tuned to Lauren's blog as there is mucho photos and wild in car video to come .
giddy up , Carson
