Hi,

I am shopping for a radiator for my '56 Parklane and am leaning towards one of two US Radiator models. One is original equipment style but "higher efficiency" than original as it has a bigger core (18.5 x 19 x 2.625 inches with 4 rows versus the standard 2 inch depth with 3 rows). The other option is a replica of the "heavy duty option" and has a core size of 20.5 x 20.125 x 2.625 inches. My Parklane will be street driven, mostly in the city, and it doesn't have air conditioning. Both radiators are copper and brass and are spendy at $546 and $611 respectively.

Does anyone have experience with radiators from US Radiator? Are there other options that I should consider?

Thanks,

MplsMike

Check out what this guy has to offer http://classicfordradiator.com/ I haven't bought from him. He was recommended to me by another person who was happy with his products. We have had email conversations and he seems to be an okay guy and when I told him I was not going to buy till the winter he didn't just blow me off.

Several years ago I found an online retailer, The name escapes me, which was actually an online store for US Radiator. I purchased their four row radiator and paid less money to have the three row core replaced.. Their price also included shipping. It was a direct replacement and has been working great. You might try some searches on Ebay.
