There are some interesting variations in those engines, some truck oil pans some pass car pans, some exhaust dumps on left others on right. Note the fixture for suspending the engine, it makes use of the RH motor mount tapped holes and the 7/16" tapped holes just above the oil pan rail. The engine can be turned over for access to the crank and it still makes the front and back accessible using this fixture.
