As a continuation of the ECZ-A manifold results that were posted within the last couple of weeks, here are the dyno results after running the Lincoln Teapot and a couple of other carbs on a dead stock, never modified, unmolested, as delivered from Ford, ECZ-B iron intake manifold. The step at the bores under the carbs is still present on this intake. The Lincoln carb was used with an upside down tapered carb adapter. The other two carbs had the 1957 7/16” Bakelite spacer under them but the spacer has been reworked to allow the larger carb throttle blades to work freely.

Because the 600 vac sec carb that was used with the ‘A’ manifold is no longer here, I substituted one of the new Demon carbs and made a single pull with it. That carb has much smaller primaries and makes up for it with a ‘Goggle’ valve in the secondaries making the carb close to being a three barrel. Jetting was in the ballpark but could have still stood some tweaking if I was going to leave it on the single four manifold. That tweaking will happen when two are them are used in the dual quad intake test.
Unlike where the various carbs were run on the 1956 ECZ-A intake and there was not much difference in power outputs due to the flow limitations of that particular manifold, the 1957 ECZ-B manifold even in its stock form does respond nicely to the larger cfm carburetors.
