Need the pieces that mount on engine for auto trans kick down. We have the long rod that goes down to trans and the linkage that mounts on firewall down to footfeed, but everything else is missing. Car is a 55 with V-8 and automatic trans. Any help is appreciated, even some good photos and we might try making it.

The '55 4 barrel is rare unless it is a T-Bird.

Just what is the difference between the 2 and 4 bbl trans linkage parts, all I know is when the 55 gets a Y block again it will have a newer trans so I can use a 6 cylinder throttle linkage for simplicity and aftermarket kick down cable.

Call Mike at Zeb's Auto Salvage in Tigerton, Wisconsin. He had that linkage for a two barrell the last time that I was there. He ships. 715-754-5885.
Tisler Salvage in Cato/Reedsburg, Wisconsin has a '54 Mercury with a four barrell that should have the linkage that you need. I do not know if Tisler's ships or not. Call Jeff at (920) 732-3669
