Something about this race really resonates with me... maybe because I grew up in deep south Texas just across from the boarder, going into Matamoros for supper on occasion. I'd really like to see the '54 details... pics of the engine, interior, undercarriage... and hear about what's in the car and how it was built! Anyplace to find this info? Mark

Carson is still going strong and has been on the podium several times in six days. They sure have had some issues during the race, but also been on the road all the time is good. Lot's of wrecks beside the roads of Mexico, though... . Keep on going Carson, Giddy up! Laurens plog is great!

As all stated, good luck, be safe, and go like a bat out of hell! I read the story of Curtis Turner taking Bill France As a copilot when they were still buddies, I think 57 but may have been 56 in a Y block no dought, I think Bill would have worn Depends if they were invented at the time. You don't scare Your daughter to justify the need of them I hope!

Carson, let the Vicky fly on those twisting roads of Mexico! I really enjoyed that first part of Laurens blog. She's telling the truth and nothing but the truth . I wish you good luck and highest position on the podium. About the GoPro camera... there is two options to choose for audio. Sensitive and not so sensitive for applications with loud noises. Sensitive should be ok inside the car but not outside thus the wind.
