I emailed REX this week and got an email back fron Gord with the following pictures. Similar to reds but with a much longer end runner. Also 2" primaries. Good to see some new products being produced for our cars. Cheers Warren

Gary, it would be interesting to see what Sanderson could come up with, using at least 1 5/8s tubing for a 55-56 ford. I would leave mine with them if I lived close enough But N.C. is a long way .

I talked to John a couple days ago and we briefly discussed the header situation. He said the guy he had working on them has been dealing with a sick wife that's been in and out of the hospital so it's really slowed the progress down. He didn't have any kind of update when I talked to him. He also didn't elude to it being Sanderson's either. Sounded like it was someone else the way he was describing the situation.

I think John was refering to the Sanderson headers. At the Back to the 50s car show a couple months ago I was talking to the Sanderson rep, he told me until someone takes a car to them that they could keep for about a week to mock up a set, they can't do it. I'm seriously thinking of take the 55 out there for the winter, he can have it for a week just to get these on the market. Gary

I thought John Mummert was working with a guy to produce some for the 55-56 Pass cars and they made a set with 1 1/2" tube and were working on making some with 1 5/8" tubes, I have been waiting for the outcome myself. To top my engine off I need a set of these headers and a mummert intake!

Talked to Gord at Rex today, nice guy, he said they've only been building one-off sets of headers up to this point. But he said there's been enough demand that they decided to mass produce sets. He said he's looking at around November for them to be available.

I emailed the REX rep about the headers on 7/22 in response to a bulk email they sent, got no reply, seems the vendors know the market better than the engineering.
