Fred, if you are using the original crank pulley for the high mounted fan there is no way that I know of to add a crank pulley groove.

The 54 and 55 trucks are a real problem.

The only way I know of is to switch to a 56-later style water pump and crank damper then you can add pulleys to the crank damper.

You will also need a 56-64 truck pump pulley and fan.

if you have a fan shroud it probably won't fit with the fan mounted directly mounted on the water pump. You will need a 56 truck shroud if you want to use one.

Anyone have a dual pulley that will fit my 292 so I can add a power steering pump.  I have little to no knowledge of what I need so help in buying the correct part would be a blessing to me.

Thanks as always,

Fred
