yes, they look similar.. yes, the back horn piece will swap. NO, the plastic buttons center caps DO NOT swap. I'm just seeing if anyone had one lying around, before I go and make my own custom one. Being the don't have a repop readily available cap for the 59', find NOS is my only hope :-/

Apache: You've lost me.. ? You are trying to swap the 57 emblem piece to the 59 ring? The 58 or 59 ring I had was fairly close to the 57 in look and fit except for the back horn pieces which should swap. Why not just use it as is, at least until you find one at a swap or whatever? Only a phillistine would question it.. or am I totally missing something here?

William, look up item # 380395828090 under 57 fords, this may be what you're looking for.

That's the one for a 57 yes. Would be nice to have but a.) already spent $75 on the 59' ring and b.) I can't shell out another $150.

It's not just the back piece, the little plastic button/emblem is a tad to small and has a tiny tab at the top that doesn't allow it to fit properly.

Apache: Not sure of your situation, but you say the 59 horn ring unit won't fit? It should look very similar but the pieces on the back are different due to the horn setup being different from 58 on. If you have the original 57 pce, (?) you can switch the back pieces & it should fit.. If I understand your situation ?.
