I have a Vintage Air setup on my car and when I had the hoses made up I had the shop that did it add charging ports in the hoses mounted on the inner fender.Very easy to service.

Mike; Sure! a picture would be great if not too much trouble. Do you have the complete Classic Auto Air system or just the brackets? We want to put air in the Ranch Wagon. I have the accessory crank pulley for the set-up, but I agree the compressor mounted below the alternator is a PITA. That's what I have on my Customline and was hoping there was an alternative out there. Rono

Ron,
My classic auto air setup mounts the compressor above the alt. pass side, on my bird. Want a picture?

Just the alternator and bracket to my knowledge. Vintage Air has a bracket that I have used. It puts the compressor down low and is a real PITA for servicing.

I too have used one of Mr Becker's alternator kits on a customer's 57 thunderbird. It is made to fit inside the original thunderbird generator mounting bracket. Comes with a special pulley to line up the belt. I would highly recommend his kit and their customer service is the best. Jerry
