If all these gassers and cars showed up at Columbus together one year, there wouldn't be enough room for the Mustangs. We got Charlie to bring the truck (it's real, and it BOOGIES) now it's time for the rest of you guys to step up. Ray, Miker, Nathan, TIM, etc..............BigGrin

Thanks a bunch Stan, love the car!I have two cars thatare similar to yours.I have built a few with that Econoline axle.I use the same steering with stock steering box with good results.I discovered that I could use Aerostar rotors to fit the Econoline axels with a bearing spacer.

I'd like to thank Bob Martin and John Gambill for donating the purse for the 57 Ford Shootout. I emailed John last week thanking him and I posted a thanks to Bob on 57fordsforever web site but it dawned on me this week that Bob might not visit that site. Bob, I appreciate your help starting Thursday evening when you saved me 75 dollars from the get go. I had a really good time and and I'm sure Tom Drummond, Larry Nicolson and Al White did also. Next year if the power brake vacuum line don't break off maybe I'll last a little bit longer. Jim Nolan

for Nathan and anybody else, It's a 55 club sedan that was butchered beyond belief! It has an econoline front axle cross steered by a stock 55 ford box with a street rod manufacturing disc brake kit. stock bore 292,stock rods, crank,G heads, isky cam and kit, mallory dist. firing a msd 6al box and accel super coil.Stock henry rockers and stands with Isky pushrods.Quick time bellhousing and flywheel, zoom clutch with a 11" kevlar disc in front of a wide ratio toploader with a NEW Hurst super shifter 3.( Had all I could stand from the shifter that was in for columbus). Denny's heavy duty driveshaft, 9" 57 ford housing with posi and 4.56 gears and S&W race cars gasser bars. The front clip is fiberglass and was race weight when I got the car. It was cleverly mounted so as to fall off on the ground when opened. I don't have any Idea who made the front clip and I can't say I have ever seen another one, I am sure their out there but i don' know where.Stan

Stan.  It was great meeting you at the Shootout.  Your car looks and runs great and glad you made it to the event.  You definitely added another degree of diversity to the Y’s that were there.  And for those of you that haven’t seen the car, here are some pics.
