Howdy Folks, Just wanted to thank everyone for a great time and I can't wait till next year. A special thanks to Jerry Christenson who I had a ball with and really enjoyed watching him give that scrub racer some grief! I'll bet he won't pit next to Jerry again. By the way I am hooked and I 'll be better prepared next year. Thanks to all, Stan

As for the scrub guy, he arrived Sunday afternoon and they only let him make one test run since he was one of their regulars at the track.

Great to meet you Stan, and The old 58 ran flawlessly down there and back, (1900 mile round trip) she;s not the tightest motor, could use a little super poly grip to tighten her up, but a big thanks to all and it was a wonderful time. never thought of seat belts or an overflow tank when we threw the stuff in my truck thursday morning and said lets go. We won't take on any more charity projects the week before columbus again, it almost cost us our trip.

Again! great time everyone!

Stan, I put my glasses on and read the fine print on your business card. Hilarious.

See you at Beaver Springs jalopy drags.

Stan:

Glad you made it and had a good time.  I'm pleased to meet you, and like Dennis, I didn't read the fine print on your card until I found my glasses.  You are truly a "jack of all trades".  I'm wondering, do you have to have a special license for the last occupation on the right side of the card?  If so, send me an application blank.

Stan.  It was great meeting you at the Shootout.  Your car looks and runs great and glad you made it to the event.  You definitely added another degree of diversity to the Y’s that were there.  And for those of you that haven’t seen the car, here are some pics.

I love that car Stan, looks just like something that I would have watched at the local tracks when I was a kid!
