Most likely Ted is the only one with a computer there and he may have had to wash his underware and drivers suit after blasting the roadster down the strip with that new motor!

Damn pinto did it again! Ted was runner up in YBlock and bracket 2. Ted is running the EMC motor and in ran consistent 9.0's with a couple 8.9's. He definitely has some mid to low 8's on the way. There are a couple of cars with the new heads and they have a slightly different sound. Not quite as chest thumping deep like before but a bit more mellow. But boy do they run. Charlie actually showed up with his truck this year! Finally. So we now have proof that he actually has one. There were a few new cars and a few of the old timers were missing but we spread from the grass at the top of the row all the way down AND around the corner for 4 spaces. I didn't get a count but lotsa Y-Blocks. I sadly had the roadster again. Fun to ride but not a Y yet. Jerry C. kept putting a cover over my engine so he couldn't see it. I'm sure some others will post the details soon. Missed you guys that didn't make it. Mark you calendar for next year! Chuck
Y's guys rule! Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.

Hey Chuck thanks for the update! I think that was Ted's plan to get the roadster into the 8's and congrat's to Greg, I really like that pinto and he does a good job with it. I hate that we missed out this year, but I have allways believed that things happen for a reason. Glad to here that Charlie made it allright. By the way we are getting the rain off this storm this morning, so all you guys heading south drive careful.

Thanks for the updates. Great to hear Ted's in the 8's. I need a set of those heads for "Jake" if I'm going after that record.

Tim you may as well call Mummert and get your name on the list, those heads seem to be the key to big numbers, along with one of Teds billet cranks and a set of those slugs that he has come up with. I'm anxious to see the dyno sheet on the roadster engine.
